Tabriz is an ancient city in northwestern Iran and is the most prolific of all carpet centres. Their quality is exceptional, showing the incredible skill of Persian craftsmanship. The makers of these rugs take such pride in their work that they often weave their signature into the carpet's border. Although the designs are unique, a Tabriz rug will often be seen with dense floral motifs, vases or hunting scenes.

Important Tip: We recommend that an anti-slip pad such as Total Grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.
