Return by mail

Return by mail with ParcelPoint


We’ve partnered with ParcelPoint to make returning online orders even easier. Choose from more than 1,300 drop-off locations, open seven days a week.


To return with ParcelPoint, make sure your item:

  • Was purchased on myer.com.au
  • Meets the above returns conditions (unless the product does not meet the consumer guarantees)
  • Maximum size is 120cm cubic dimensions (adding together the length, width and height). Which is about the size limit of airline carry-on luggage. Maximum weight is 10kg.

How to return with ParcelPoint:

  1. Visit ParcelPoint to start the process
  2. If you item meets the above conditions, select 'ParcelPoint Drop Off' as your method of return.
  3. Complete the form. You will need to provide your online order ID, the name of the person that placed the order, an email address where we can send updates on the progress of the return and an Australian mobile phone number, should we need to contact you.
  4. Pack the items to be returned.
  5. Print and attach your returns label which includes tracking and proof of sending for peace of mind.
  6. Drop off your parcel to any ParcelPoint location.

$7.50 fee applies for ‘Change Of Mind’ Parcelpoint Drop-off (Cheapest Option); courier pickup costs extra. See Parcelpoint for details.




Return by mail with Australia Post


Return through your local Australia Post post office with over 4,400 drop-off locations to choose from, open Monday to Saturday.


To return with Australia Post, make sure your item:

  • Was purchased on myer.com.au
  • Meets the above returns conditions (unless the product does not meet the consumer guarantees)
  • Maximum size is 0.25 cubic metres with a maximum length of 105 centimetres. Maximum weight is 22kg.

How to return with Australia Post:

  1. Select your nearest state from the selection below. This will take you to the relevant Australia Post returns portal where you can add details of your return.




QLD

  1. Enter your order information to start the returns process – you will need to provide your Order ID and the email address used to place your order on myer.com.au.
  2. Select your reason for return using the drop down provided. Please note, a charge will be incurred on ‘change of mind’ purchases. If your return is due to change of mind, you will then be prompted to enter your payment details.
  3. Print and attach your returns label. If you do not have a printer, simply download the label and present the barcode at a participating Australia Post location, identified by the 'printer symbol', and the label will be printed for you.
  4. Drop your parcel at one of the 4,400 Australia Post drop-off locations close to you such as post offices, parcel lockers and red street posting boxes.

$12.20 fee applies for ‘Change Of Mind’ Australia Post drop-off.

In-store returns

You are welcome to return an item in-store. Please note, we do not accept returns for Big & Bulky items in-store.


We have relaxed our returns policy during this unprecedented period to accommodate any reasonable return request outside of our standard terms.

We understand that many customers will not be able to physically make it into stores during this time so this gives peace of mind with any purchase made or are planning to make.

We have temporarily extended our change of mind return period to 60 days. Please note that change of mind returns will not be offered for goods designated as CLEARANCE. Other aspects of our Myer Returns Policy remain the same.

What can I return and when?

Before returning an item, please check to see whether it meets the following conditions.

  • Items must be unworn or in their original condition.
  • You must provide proof of purchase
  • The item is not subject to the exclusions listed in our Returns Policy

Can I exchange an item?


Exchange in-store - You are welcome to exchange an item in-store. Please note, we do not accept exchanges for Big & Bulky items in-store. Please ensure you have proof of purchase with you so our team can process your exchange. If your refund meets our exchange conditions, we will process it for you straight away.


Exchange by mail - We are unable to facilitate exchanges by mail. Instead you will need to request a return. Returns by post may take up to 28 days to return, therefore in order to ensure the size or colour you are after is available, we recommend that you place an order for your new item as soon as possible. Waiting for your refund to be processed may result in your preferred item being sold out.


We’ve partnered with ParcelPoint and Australia Post to make returning online orders even easier. Shop with peace of mind knowing you can return items by mail free of charge, outside of 'change of mind' returns. If you’d like to return a 'change of mind' purchase by mail, you can use ParcelPoint for a national flat rate of $7.50 (unless it’s a Big and Bulky item) or Australia Post for a national flat rate of $12.20. Change of mind returns do not apply to Big & Bulky items.

What is a Myer returns card?

A Myer returns card is given when a customer has paid with a rewards or gift card and can’t receive a cash refund or a different credit card is presented to the one used to pay. They work a bit like a gift card and are subject to an expiry date.
