The Handmade Collection Hand Knotted Pure Wool Toyserkan Rug 215X120cm

Tuyserkan rugs are a scarce tribal rug made by weavers in the village of Tuyserkan, surrounded by the Zagros mountains in western Iran. They are well known for their high quality craftsmanship. The woolen yarn from local sheep is hardy and strong, providing a durable surface and beautiful colour scale with a soft and silk-like sheen. Patterns are mostly geometric, with floral motifs also present.

IMPORTANT TIP: We recommend that an anti-slip pad such as Total Grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.
