Chobi rugs are sourced from the border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Geometric and floral designs are created in soft, muted tones that are ideal for the modern home. The hand-spun wool is traditionally dyed with a unique method using hand-gathered fruits, vegetables, roots, tree barks, and dried fruit shells. Today's chobis are made with a combination of modern and traditional techniques maintaining the true integrity of the colors and design. A perfect complement to the modern or classic home, these collectible pieces will always stand the test of time.
Important tip: we recommend that an anti-slip pad such as a total grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.
