A very feminine oriental fragrance with a mysterious sensuality captured in notes of geranium, cinnamon and patchouli. Voluptuous and captivating. Because Christian Dior felt as much a Perfumer as a Couturier, he wanted to create fragrances so he could see each of his dresses emerge one by one from the bottles.

Its leaves and stems are steam distilled before the flower blooms to produce the essential oil. This complex scent with a hint of rose flourishes as the top note of Dioressence.

Patchouli is a plant originally from Indonesia and Malaysia. A key element of the perfumer's palette, its essence is obtained by steam distilling the dried leaves. It is used in chypre, woody and oriental fragrances, featuring as the base note of Dioressence.
