I was flying for love, and watching these lads on the tarmac, wondering what they were sending? or receiving? X's and O's? Just a shopping list.
These messages, that can say so much, and then, be so misconstrued... still, its just a story that I have placed over this drawing, youll make your own in time.

Spanning a series of t-shirts, Jess's latest collaboration is with Melbourne-based artist Ted McKinlay.
With a quick glance at his moving subjects, his observations are caught with ink on paper. His artwork captures the quixotic movement and stillness of crowds, the permeable space between private and public, and the individual faces of those around us; those we so often pass by unseen.
Armed with pen, paper, quick wit and keen observation Ted draws the people whom we move amongst, the faces in the crowd that we glance in a hurry but never see, the behaviours that communicate far more than any words. His at work series provides a compilation of the shared preoccupations, fears and fascinations of our city's crowds. And by observing his sketched snapshots of those around us, we see ourselves reflected in the faces of our city.
The TED MCKINLAY x HIGH TEES collaboration brings these illustrations from the page into your lives, offering a range of t-shirts. HIGH TEES invites you to participate in a dialogue provoked by these images worn on your chest - be part of the conversation, be part of the HIGH TEES crowd.
