Basic pants for around the house

This garment arrived in a plastic protective bag, but it looked burnt on the bottom of one of the legs. I thought perhaps from ironing. My husband believed it may have been make-up. I took a chance on washing it before wearing them, and thankfully, the mark disappeared. The waist elastic is smaller than the hemmed waist that houses it, so it doesn't sit flat and tends to twist. The fabric is not as thick as it appears in the picture, so it's more see-through than I would like.
