Beautiful But Disappointing!

Unfortunately, my experience with the Smeg coffee machine was disappointing. I had only had it for a week when it stopped working properly, which was really frustrating, especially for a new and fairly expensive appliance. The cleaning was also very disappointing. Even after using it for only a short time, with just a small amount of coffee grounds in it, it already required cleaning, which simply wasnโ€™t practical.

Not much crema

The coffee machine is lovely. The user guide is absolutely woeful. Disappointed with the lack of crema on the coffee. Was definitely expecting more. Have tried different grind levels and various beans but still only a thin light coloured layer of crema coming through. Hmmm. Not really espresso then. However it is relatively mess free and quick and easy for when you are on the run.
