I purchased the Washington 1/4 Zip Knit just over a month ago, and it’s honestly exceeded my expectations. From the first wear, I could tell it was well made. The fit is true to size with a relaxed but flattering shape that isn’t too oversized or too fitted. It’s easy to dress up with chinos or jeans, but it’s just as comfortable for everyday casual wear. The fabric is one of the best things about it. It’s incredibly soft against the skin and doesn’t have that scratchy feeling that some knitwear can have. Even after wearing it regularly and washing it a few times, it’s remained just as soft. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well it’s held up—there’s been little to no pilling, which isn’t always the case with knitwear after repeated wear. It has the perfect amount of stretch, making it really comfortable to move around in while still keeping its shape throughout the day. The cuffs, hem and collar haven’t become loose, and the quarter zip feels sturdy and smooth to use. In terms of warmth, it’s ideal for cooler weather. It provides enough insulation for crisp mornings and evenings without feeling bulky or overheating indoors. It’s also great for layering under a jacket on colder days. Overall, the quality, comfort and durability have really impressed me. It’s become one of the first things I reach for, and I’d happily buy another one in a different colour. If you’re looking for a soft, warm, well-fitting knit that washes well and doesn’t pill easily, I highly recommend this one.
