Good machine

This machine works well, as expected. The attachments are sturdy, lock into place easily. The heat function works well. The heat is probably like an induction stove, it needs vibration, hence the noise. It really isn't that bad, the mixing is far louder. Not being able to use the dishwasher for attachments is no different to KitchenAid, or at least Mum's old one. You can make the mistake of putting them in the dishwasher, but then you get black fingers from the aluminium. The thing to stop flour from flying out of the bowl does the best it can, but flour is very fine and mixing will still force the flour through the gaps. Baking is messy. Those of us who used the old 1970's machines never had this attachment, so are used to a lot of things being thrown from the bowl while mixing. After using this machine for a few months, at the end of the day, the machine works as advertised and feels like it will last a long time.
