[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iโve been putting the Galaxy Buds4 Pro through their paces, and two main strengths stand out immediately: how spacious they sound and how well they isolate you from your surroundings.
Audio Performance & Soundstage
The dual-driver setup and redesigned metal blade stem deliver real punch and clarity across the board. You get a broad, distinct soundstage where instruments don't clash or crowd each other out:
Low End: The bass hits low and clean without bleeding into or smothering the mid-range.
Vocals & Mids: Clear and warm, keeping vocals upfront and acoustic details easy to pick out.
Highs: Detailed and sharp on hi-hats and cymbals without giving you ear fatigue over long sessions.
Noise Cancellation & Passive Seal
The physical fit creates a tight passive seal right away, but the adaptive active noise cancellation does the heavy lifting:
Damping Outside Noise: Constant low-frequency hums like road noise, air conditioning, or engines, they virtually vanish when ANC is on.
Adaptive Intelligence: It automatically adjusts attenuation levels when surrounding noise shifts, meaning you don't need to constantly tweak settings in the Wearable app.
Mic & Calls: The stem design puts the pickup mics closer to your mouth, which helps isolate your voice cleanly when making calls in noisy spaces.
The Verdict
If you want earbuds that block out the daily commute while delivering rich, layered audio with actual depth, the Buds4 Pro deliver on both fronts.
Balanced and polished

Blown away
Audio Snob โ 5 out of 5 stars
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an unabashed audiophile who has always shunned Bluetooth earbuds. High-end wired In Ear Monitors and ridiculously expensive headphones with headphone amp are how I listen at home. Even my 'walk around' IEMs for use outside the house (on walks and public transport mostly) cost about 5 times as much as the Galaxy Pro 4s.
So what made me buy Bluetooth earbuds for the first time? I was in a shopping centre prior to taking a long outdoor walk, when I realised I had left my outdoor IEMs at home and I always listen to books or podcasts while walking. I could have driven home to collect them, but a friend's recent acquisition of the Galaxy Pro 4 (about which, between us, I was a bit snooty) piqued my curiosity and I bought them on impulse.
Did I like them? Well, less than a week later I bought another set, so I'll have one always in the car and the other for around the house. I am also planning to buy at least one friend a set for Christmas.
The comfort, the security in my ear, the ease of operation (particularly the integration with my Samsung watch and phone), the very efficient noise cancelling - all of these were expected. What I did not predict was how good the sound quality is. I mean - this is Bluetooth for goodness' sake!
My Audible books and podcasts sounded rich and natural (aided by the very effective active noise cancellation) and I never intended to use them for serious music listening.
A few days ago I just thought I'd give the Pro 4's a try on a high res download of 17th century German violin music (played by Louise Ayrton on Alpha). I mean there was no one around to see me and accuse me of slumming it on audiophile terms. All I can say is Wow! The clarity, warmth, accuracy and detail were far beyond anything I imagined possible with wireless sound - even with Samsung's proprietary high end Bluetooth. (Make sure you go to advanced sound settings to switch all the good things on.)
Do I have a criticism? Yes. The L and R markings should be a lot easier to see.
That tiny issue aside, I am delighted that my impulsive purchase has been so successful. For convenience, comfort, value for money,, ease of use and, yes, sound quality, I cannot recommend the Pro 4's highly enough.
