Game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stoked with this buy. Honestly, I’ve always thought a microwave is just a microwave mostly used for reheating last night’s leftovers or melting butter but this Panasonic machine is a different beast altogether. I’m a bit of a tech nerd, so I was skeptical about their "Inverter" marketing spiel. Usually, microwaves just blast 100% power on and off to simulate lower heat, which leaves your mince half-frozen in the middle and boiling hot on the edges. Gross. But you can actually hear and see the difference with this one. It delivers a continuous, steady stream of energy. I defrosted some chicken breasts last night and they came out perfectly supple—no weird, accidental cooked white edges at all. The build quality is solid as. The door has a proper, satisfying thud when it shuts, not that cheap, tinny rattle you get on budget warehouse brands. It's got a massive interior capacity but doesn't take over the entire kitchen bench, which is ideal because our rental has sweet all counter space. If I have one tiny gripe, the touch panel is quite sleek so it picks up fingerprints easily if the kids have sticky fingers, but a quick wipe with a tea towel sorts it. It’s definitely a premium price point compared to the cheap throwaway ones, but you get what you pay for. It’s reliable, predictable, and doesn't nuke your food to cardboard. If you're on the fence, just do it. Absolute game changer for the kitchen.
