Blends fine but leaks oil and bad smell

Since pretty much day 1 our blender started spitting oil from its vents. You don't see any actual oil coming out but progressively (over a few weeks) we could see black marks forming next the wall and next to the microwave the blender was positioned from. And then around the 6 months mark whenever using it a pretty bad burnt smell came out of it when using it. Burn smell usually means the motor is working too hard or failing. My guess is that because it's spitting all its oil it's then you lubricated enough to function properly... We contacted Ninja and they provided with a replacement pretty quickly which was great. The new blender is spitting just as much oil sadly and does have a bit of a smell already (not burnt but it doesn't feel quite right). We use it 9.9/10 for simple banana and blueberry smoothies, not something too demanding.
