The satin black enameled interior is durable and designed to withstand higher surface temperatures, sealing the food quickly. The interior enamel has excellent food release and is enhanced once a natural surface patina develops. Food release similar to a non-stick finish can be achieved so little or no oil is required for healthier cooking of meat, vegetables, or even flatbread.
Crafted in Northern France since 1925. Le Creuset cast iron cookware is made in individual sand molds using 85% recycled iron and steel resulting in a unique hand-finished piece of cookware that evenly and efficiently retains heat.
