Nice product but broke off

I'd never tried eyeshadow in a stick before. I have found the creaminess and ease of blending really pleasant. It is easy to use, however the internal stick broke off. I hadn't treated it roughly, so not sure why it happened. I am still using it, but just need to make sure I hold it up so it doesn't fall out again.

I bought the lightest shade 01 oatmilk. Dry, chalky on skin, and very difficult to blend. Not suitable for a highlighter although that was the Myer staff's selling point. Just terrible. I cannot find videos online showing its use either. I regret buying it. Drug-store ones are better than this!
