nice scent but short lasting

I liked the sweeter scent of the Untold Absolu Eau de Parfum but it only lasted around two to three hours before disappearing to nothing. Whereas the Elizabeth Arden Diamond and Rubies Eau de Toilette is a fragrance that can last the whole day and can be purchased a lot cheaper when on special. I thought EDP was suppose to last longer than EDT? Also as the names are similar, there is a distinct fragrance difference between the 2 Absolu perfumes. I would suggest trying them both on as they are distinctly different and like me, you may not like one of them. I do have an issue with the advertised price. On-line it is $64. At Myer's Townsville, every now and then, they bring out the small placard advertising it for $55. However, when initially queried 12 months ago, they said it is the wrong price (it should be $64) and took away the placard but refused to honour their advertised price. I didn't buy it because of this behaviour. I thought it would have been fixed by now but when I went to pick up my online order, that same placard advertising the cheaper price is still out there. Leaves a bad taste Myers.

Purchased as a Mother's Day present and mum absolutely loves it. She appreciates the fruity and floral combination and the scent lingers for the most part of the day/night unlike most light fragrance family types of EDPs. Beware though, the scent isn't detectable after initial spray - it takes about a minute for the fragrance to come through. But it is certainly lovely if you're a fan of said fruity/floral fragrances. It is absolutely gorgeous and can be worn day or night as mum has done thus far.
