I bought these Stuart Derby shoes purely off the fact my best mate's name is Stu. I just needed a pair of dress shoes last minute as I remembered some questionable dance moves at a wedding caused an unrepairable blow-out. Within minutes of putting them on, my posture improved, strangers started nodding at me with newfound respect, and my coffee somehow tasted better. I can't say the shoes caused these things... but I also can't prove they didn't. They've survived long workdays, another weddings, questionable dance moves, and that one friend who insists on walking "the scenic route." They still look sharp. The only downside? Now every other pair of shoes in my wardrobe looks like they've given up on life. My runners have started avoiding eye contact. Would I recommend Aquila? Absolutely. Just be prepared for the unrealistic expectation that every future pair of shoes should make you feel like the main character walking through the city with an imaginary movie soundtrack playing in the background.
