Very odd design, not wide at all

I bought these for wide feet. They are not in any way wide. They are very strangely designed, with the leather over the top of your foot digging in terribly - I could not put my foot in them without pain. I always buy the same size shoe. I wouldn't suggest purchasing these, but if you do maybe buy a bigger size and see how you go.
