Tall Non-leather Brown Boots

First of all, I searched for only leather boots so they rub less. It turns out that these went into my search because they're labelled as non-leather. I ordered a size 41 with the understanding from the size chart that it would be big enough. However, the ankle part is designed so narrow that you can't get a normal foot into the bottom of the boot as they wouldn''t stretch enough and the zip ends above the ankle from memory. Then when we went to return them, we could not since they were marked as a clearance item. So we gave them to an animal-loving friend who they do fit and loves them. It is a rather expensive lesson not to buy footwear on clearance, unless maybe you've tried them on already in the shop.
