Cast iron frypan has surprised me in a good way

Wanted to buy a cast iron frypan for a while. Really happy I finally did heat retention is excellent cooks evenly - better than any other frypan I have used. Easy to clean, seasoning takes no time. Beautiful colour. The handle takes a little while to get hot but it’s no problem, once it gets hot when you grab handle yes it’s hot but there’s no way in my option you would burn your hand as you know if you need to grab the handle for a while you get a glove. it’s slightly heavier than other frypans but I love that it has substance and that is why it holds heat so well and cooks so well. You can walk away from it and leave it cooking away as it likes low heat, I look forward to cooking in it. So far have cooked sausages, chicken schnitzel , plant based schnitzel and onions all turned out beautifully. I cook on lower heat takes a little longer but oh so worth it- delish. Food does not stick. Healthy frypan that I don’t have to worry about any toxins ect leaching out of it. I highly recommend. Wish I had done this sooner. I’m so happy with it.
