Great size for the hand (I found the dinner knives too long - these side knives are a better length) and sharp enough to use as a dinner knife. Only disappointing but was they came scratched (as they were in the βlooseβ cutlery section). Makes it feel like you are not getting a brand new product. I needed the cutlery for entertaining friends so I kept despite them not looking βnewβ.
