A little disappointed in this radio. Clarity is not great. It works ok but a little ‘tinny’ with the sound. Reception within my storeage unit is not good either. Overall you get what you pay for. I’d probably spend a bit more next time and get a reputable brand. On the upside it does work.

I mainly bought this radio for my 99 year old legally blind mother so that when she is resting in bed, she can listen to music on her favourite AM/FM radio stations - with or without the plug-in ear-piece. She likes that the radio can be battery-operated, and thatit is compact and light-weight. She finds the carry handle feature to be very helpful, especially when she wants to move to other areas of her home. The dials make it easy for her to find the stations she wants to listen to, and the sounds is terrific! She is very happy with this radio!
