Disappointed, save your money and don't buy - no scent at al

I received the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir candle as a Christmas gift and I was so excited to light it for the first time, as a luxury brand known for its beautiful scents. I was so disappointed upon lighting it for the first time that there is literally no throw from it at all - I've lit it for the second time tonight and absolutely nothing. It could be an unscented candle. I was expending it to fill the room, especially at the price point it's at. I would strongly suggest looking at an alternative candle if you're looking for something that makes people ask whats lit when they walk into your home.

A Bit Disappointing

While the candle itself does give off a lovely glow, the scent is almost non-existent. I have worn the perfume for years and know that it is a strong scent. People always comment on it because it is very present and invoking. I was hoping the candle would fill my home with the same wonderful scent, but that is not the case. After burning for quite some time it can still barely be noticed. Very disappointing to say the least.

Buyer Beware

Over six years I have had four of these candles, spending slightly over ยฃ1k . Granted I had a few beers when bought the 1st as part of my wifes Christmas, but we both loved it ..So we bought another for the upstairs lounge too . 2 years later I bought another ( to replace the 1st ) , but its scent just didnt fill the room the same. I complained and Jo Malone sent a replacement - NO questions asked they just took the batch number and sent a replacement - NO questions asked ( Great Customer Service !!!) The replacement candle has the scent but its leaving a black residue on the top of the candle, I trim the wicks after every burning but the residue just builds up and it looks pretty unsightly which is annoying as the candle has a great presence even when unlite
