I was very worried about these shoes when they came in the mail as they were higher than I thought, However after 8 hours at a wedding in these I could not be more wrong. There is an elastic extension strap that extends based on your foots movement on the top diagonal strap, this is what allows the shoes to be so comfortable and something I rarely see in shoes these days ! only note is if you have a slightly wider foot, the pointed shape at the top might not look the most flattering on your feet, I just wore a long dress so you couldnt see!
