Waaaaaay too tight

These shoes are so adorable, and I really wish I could have kept them, but the sizing didn't work for me. While all the reviews said they were wide and comfortable enough to walk in, my feet were swollen by the end of the day. The tip of the shoe was very narrow, and my toes were squeezed against the top. It was like modern foot binding, so torturous. Mind you, my feet are not wide and I ordered my exact size. Additionally, the soles are a bit cheap and started to chafe off after just one day of use. They are also very loud when you walk which could be annoying for you. Iโ€™m going to try again with a larger size to see if the shoes actually run small. I really want this work.

The leather broke in very quickly and were very comfortable for a full day of wear at work. Usually with anything that comes over the top of my foot I go a half size up from my normal size (I have a high arch), but because they broke in within a day I honestly probably could have gotten away with a 6.5. I absolutely love these, they are a more adult version of some black clogs with a dark brown heel I had as a teen in '01-'02 which was exactly what I was looking for.
