Stunning but tiny

The dress is stunning, but runs REALLY small. I've just returned my original purchase of a size 10 (which looked like it would fit a child, so I didn't even try it on); kept the size 12 (which I need shapewear to fit into) and have just ordered a size 14 (hoping this is "just right"). At this price, it needs to be perfect. I've never worn a 14 in any other brand in my life, but found the fabric in this dress molds around every bit of fat (and even expensive shapewear doesn't help much). The embellishments are like diamonds and look amazing.
