These clippers are a great product, I've used them twice already, would happily continue using them. I'm in the habit of giving myself a regular haircut - every 2 weeks minimum or sometimes once a month. I mainly use the no.8 guide comb on the top and then progressively use nos. 5, 4, 3 on the sides to blend. The colour coded combs are a great idea and let you easily distingush the cutting length. I've never used the tapered (left/right ear) guides so I can't comment. The guide combs are sturdy and the clipper unit is powerful enough without being too noisy. It's got everything you need for home use - also includes a small bottle of oil and clipper brush and some extra hair combs.
