Lovely blanket more for picnic rug very warm but not soft on the skin and has a very wool smell , I have washed it twice . I am a country kid and reminds me of our wool blankets when I was a kid except not as soft. Also the colour looks different not as light as the one I picked. When I top a photo with my camera it appears lighter than actually is. Love it is Australia made but disappointed I wanted a soft throw for watching tv. Hope this helps. Still a great blanket and still using but not what I wanted also beautifully presented in the shipping box but than let down by smell and feel.
