Slippery when wet and rubbed raw

I wanted something different for our trip to europe. They do look great but for fit two things. The soles are not grippy. With a littke rain on bitumin there was several little slides if youre not paying attention. The the sudes at the ankle are two high. My feet are far from perfect but under my ankle bone its digging in. Have socks on but theyre lower and its not blister rub but the depth of the heel sides pushing in to the under side of my ankle bones.

Love the colour and style, sole is comfy however, despite all my other skechers being the same size I recon these run small should have purchased a size up unfortunately I had already taken all the tags off so couldn't return.
