Dried Slime, Glitter Shards, and Hair Shedding

My sister bought this for my daughter for Christmas. We opened it only a few days later to find that the slime seeped out of the blister pack and dried up. We tried working it between our hands to warm it up, but it already degraded. The glitter isn’t simple sparkle glitter. They’re like sharp shards that hurt when stuck between your fingers. We ended up having to pour the glitter into her legs and placing dried clumps of slime on top to make it stay. The doll’s hair is shedding in clumps. She is a very pretty doll, but unfortunately I think we got a defective one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old had fun creating the slime mixture for Violet’s legs. The product comes with slime and glitter pieces to mix in. Once we mixed the slime up, we put it inside the dolls plastic legs and snapped the front and back of the legs together to seal it in. Now her doll has slime-filled legs! It looks pretty cool but was kind of a pain to get the legs to snap together thoroughly. The design of the rainbow doll is very pretty! We love her outfit and makeup! Her hair did come a bit hard and crunchy-like but the more we brushed it out the softer it got. Do note that the glitter is very messy and also kinda has sharp-ish edges so be careful with little one’s hands. Keep a vacuum nearby 😆
