I have used Philips shavers for over 60 years and while I find the 5000 series gives a good shave. My one criticism is I find the on/off button quite sensitive and easy to turn off when using.

I aways bought the 3000 series for dependability and overall simplicity, but this new 5000 series purchase is by far the best shave I have had. To use the beard trimmer you have to swop heads which is just a little fiddly and time will tell if it holds up to the head changes. Will definitely buy again in the future as my overall my rating is very good I may also buy another 3000 series for travel as the beard trimmer/shaver is all in one.
