I suffer from a dust mite allergy which is worse at night.I used to dread waking up sneezing for hours at a time every night. The Phillips air purifier has changed all that and I am sleeping much better. Iām hoping that this continues!

Bought one for the bedroom and noticed a difference immediately then bought a further 2 units 1 for a friend and 1 for the lounge. They are simple well made devices with long lasting filters (which do require cleaning about every 2 weeks depending on the environment) They just work away silently in the background ramping up if it detects an increase in particulate matter it then increases fan speed until the air clears. The unit lights up to indicate air quality and a red brush appears to remind you to hoover the filter and eventually another to replace the filter which they say lasts 12 months

The product was intended for my daughter's bedroom to help with her allergies. Unfortunately it made no difference to her congestion so we placed on the living room floor instead. Its interesting to see how cooking and heating effect the air quality causing the purifier to increase the level of purification, so I have peace of mind knowing it's helping in some way. My only criticism is that the marketing is misleading and shows the purifier sitting on a bedside table, describing it as small, which is what I really wanted. It is certainly too big to be on a side table, but I do take responsibility for not looking at the specs- an easy mistake to make if marketing says otherwise.
