The  Middleton Bootleg Pant by Marcs is cut from soft-touch viscose with a figure-flattering silhouette. Designed with a high rise, full-length leg, front pockets, and an invisible zip for a smooth finish, this pant has tailored ease with a fluid feel.

These pants seemed to be a great fit and drape but were miles too long and I am 5.7m tall. So I had to shorten them and then steam press them on the inside. The steam left water marks so I rinsed them in cold water and drip dried, ironed them again and then hung in the wardrobe until the weekend opportunity to wear them. Then I found that they had shrunk badly so I had to release the hem, rehem with iron on hemming tape, repress and they are now still a tad short and don’t drape as well. So I have to remove the iron hemming tape and possibly have a 1cm hem or turn them into cropped pants. Or maybe give them to charity. So frustrating. Some viscose should never be approved for clothing. Or preshrink it so that it stays true to the purchase size and length. David Lawrence should have a better standard of textiles.

Disappointed

I love the texture and how it fits my body. Very comfortable and the colour is perfect.
