Dangerous Office Chair - A Safety Hazard
Neena Shavon — 1 out of 5 stars
I purchased this cushioned office chair online, and unfortunately, it has been a major disappointment and a safety hazard. While the chair was initially comfortable, my experience quickly turned negative. On multiple occasions, including when myself, husband and my son used it, the chair tipped over easily. I had a particularly frightening incident where I half sat on the chair, and it tipped over, causing me to fall to the floor with the chair landing on top of my head. This resulted in significant back pain. This issue seems to be related to the chair’s design, as other office chairs I've used in the past, even when sat on the edge, never tipped over. I believe this chair is a serious safety risk and may need to be recalled. Returning the chair is also equally frustrating. The thought of dismantling it, repacking it in its large box, and then making a trip to the store is overwhelming. I bought this chair online to avoid such hassles, so this situation is extremely inconvenient. I strongly recommend avoiding this chair for safety reasons and am extremely disappointed with both the product and the return process.
