You shall not pass!

MedievalLamp095 — 4 out of 5 stars

Overall good quality set, which looks good either in nook form or with the wings open. There a couple of details on the Balrog's hand which are grey, would've been nice if they used black pieces instead but otherwise I can't really knock it. The build was really satisfying to put together and nothing was too technical, so don't let the 18+ rating put you off

Fun build, but a little finicky

balraug — 4 out of 5 stars

This was a very fun set to build. The progression seems natural and is not repetitive. There are two or three times when you build the same small section twice, but that's just a few minutes out of a couple hours of build time. The translucent orange looks great paired with the black and makes for nice flame effects. Only complaints are that the joints for arms, legs and wings are not as tight as I would like and sometimes closing the book causes some of the flames to get knocked off. Minor complaints. Happy to have built this and am displaying it in my office.

Better in person than the picture!

Nana — 4 out of 5 stars

This was a fun build! Easy yes, but the aesthetic what’s much better in person than in the pictures. I bought this originally to complete my other Lord of the rings builds. I kinda fell in love with this piece!
