Painting Guide
Recommended process:

• Apply minimum 2 coats of quality exterior primer, sealer and undercoat (Dulux 1 Step Prep recommended provides mould resistance and stain blocking).
• Follow with minimum 2 coats of exterior-grade paint (Dulux Weathershield recommended).
• Use a brush rather than spray for better penetration into timber.
• Ensure complete coverage of all surfaces including edges and corners.
• Natural timber note: Timber may develop minor cracks and gaps over time due to natural expansion and contraction. This is normal and does not affect structural integrity. Cracks typically close once moisture returns. Proper painting significantly reduces this effect.

Safety & Placement Information

• Supervision: Adult supervision required at all times during play.
• Placement: Level ground with good drainage Avoid low-lying areas prone to flooding Stable surface to limit movement Natural shade recommended to reduce sun exposure and extend timber life
• Weather: Cover or bring indoors during extended wet weather, heavy rain, thunderstorms, or strong winds. A waterproof cover is strongly recommended.
• Ongoing maintenance: Regularly inspect all components and hardware for security. Touch up paint as needed to maintain weather protection. If the structure looks uneven, use a level to check placement and adjust as needed.
