Love real analog hands and great battery life!

I now have the Instinct Crossover Standard Edition (this review), Crossover Solar, and Crossover Solar Tactical - and the new Crossover AMOLED non-tactical. I really love real analog hands because they are always visible day or night. This Standard Edition is my favorite with the silver trim and very bright and easy to see MIP screen, hands, and marks. Nighttime glow lasts all night and is easy to see without turning on the backlight. The Solar and Solar Tactical displays are harder to see and dull. The Solar has the best colors being slate with black trim but lacks the silver highlights that the Standard Edition has, thus I prefer the Standard, and possibly the blue granite theme model I have on order now. Best would be Solar theme with Standard silver trim, but it is what it is. The AMOLED version is awful - I don't wear it at all - too bright of a display during the evening glances that I had to turn off glances, display is not always on, luminescence is hard to see and does not last the whole night, hands are small, and has *dismal* battery life: Standard with about 20 days and AMOLED with 6 days with equal conditions usage. Speaking of battery life, there is not that much of a difference between the Standard and Solar versions to be noticeable when I use GPS about 1 to 1.5 hours per day in the Tucson constant-sun environment. I am so sad that these are the last of the MIP display watches and AMOLED is so awful, thus my purchase of all of these models so I will always have the models I like even if software is no longer supported. <sigh> Shame on you Garmin for not having a new Crossover MIP display model. Not all of us want AMOLED.
