Bought to replace an older model that had died. We got this model because we wanted the ice alert funcion. Accurate and easy to use. It has 3 brightness settings which is handy where we keep this.

My first home weather station was an Oregon Scientific which I bought in 2016. A couple of years ago the sensor failed and was replaced. Earlier this year the main unit failed. After researching the alternatives I settled on the Explore Scientific and I'm really pleased I did. It has a bright, easy to read display and its really easy to set up, much easier than the Oregon. On top of that it was a very competitive price with quick delivery. Its a winner.
