I thought these looked pretty online, but they really are lovely in person. The shiny finish gives them that little extra something special while the design remains timeless and easily paired with casual or more dressed up attire. They also look like a well made pair of shoes which feel sturdy in your hand and on the foot. It's rare that I don't buy a size 39 even though my left foot has given me a tighter fit for years. I tried the right shoe and it fit like a glove, then I was having some trouble getting my "evil" left foot in. Eventually, it got in, but was giving my smallest toe some grief! I was worried they wouldn't work. I tried wearing them around the house to see if it may help but, I wasn't having much luck. I was really disappointed. Next day, I was able to wear both shoes with no bother, walking for a good hour without issue. I think it may have been slightly swollen originally so I'd think about maybe going up a size if you too would always ask for a half size larger! I know it all sounds a bit dramatic, but I like the shoes that much and finding them on discount was just the cherry on top.
