Unlike other slam balls and medicine balls, this one is textured. It gives a better grip during tough workout sessions. After 2 months of daily use I am amazed at seeing no wear and tear. Great quality.

The outer surface is a little bit harder than the previous one which I have used. Was a bit on the fence about the textured design before purchasing it but I have been surprisingly liking it. Its a good combo of excellent quality and reasonable price. Defs going to get more weights for this.

The grip on this slam ball is A1. With other slam balls I've used that don't have the tyre grip, they have slipped out of my hands, but not this one. It's a great design.
