MYER one Card Linked Program Frequently Asked Questions
How does the MYER one Card linking program work?
Please note that from 1 July 2026, eftpos debit cards can no longer be linked to your MYER one account, and Visa® and Mastercard® debit card transactions processed via the eftpos debit network will not earn MYER one points.
Securely link your Mastercard® or Visa® credit card or debit card to your MYER one account. You can link up to 5 credit or debit cards to your MYER one account. Cards cannot be linked to multiple MYER one accounts.
When you shop online or instore at our participating MYER one card linked partners and use your linked card for your shop, you’ll earn MYER one points for your eligible shop based on the partners’ points earn rate and offer terms.
More information about our partners, and their MYER one points earn rates can be found by visiting our Earn Partners page.
Payments made through third-party services like PayPal or Afterpay aren’t eligible to earn points as the transaction isn't processed through the partner and is not able to be tracked.
Can I link and use a debit Mastercard® or Visa® to earn points?
Yes, you can link your Mastercard® or Visa® debit card. Please note that from 1 July 2026, Visa® and Mastercard® debit card transactions processed via the eftpos debit network will not earn MYER one points.
Please refer to the following payment guidelines:
- In-Store (Insert/Swipe): Insert or swipe your linked card and select 'Credit' instead of ‘Cheque’ or ‘Savings’ to ensure transactions are not processed via the eftpos debit network.
- Tap payments, Digital Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) and Online Payments: Some retailers use "Merchant Choice Routing," which may process transactions via the eftpos network, bypassing the Visa® and Mastercard® network. In these instances, we will not be able to track your transactions and therefore cannot guarantee that points will be earned on those transactions.
To ensure you always earn points when shopping with our online partners we recommend paying with a linked Visa® or Mastercard® credit card. This helps us track your transaction and ensure your points are processed correctly.
What is eftpos?
eftpos is Australia’s local debit card network used to process debit card payments within Australia.
How is Visa and Mastercard different from eftpos?
Visa and Mastercard are international payment networks, and process both debit and credit card payments in Australia and internationally.
Some Australian debit cards are dual-network cards, meaning a single card can process a payment through either the eftpos network or Visa/Mastercard network. The network used for a transaction depends on factors such as the retailer’s setup and the payment method used (e.g. inserting the card, tapping or using digital wallet).
Why is the eftpos network no longer available for the MYER one card linked program?
eftpos has discontinued the transaction and card-matching data service that supports card-linked loyalty programs. As a result, eftpos no longer participates in these programs in Australia, including the MYER one card linked program.
From 1 July 2026, eftpos debit cards can no longer be linked to your MYER one account, and Visa® and Mastercard® debit card transactions processed via the eftpos debit network will not earn MYER one points.
How long does it take for my points to appear in my MYER one account?
Points will appear in your account once your transaction has been verified, and the partners’ returns period has passed. The processing time varies with partners.
Please refer to the table of current partners in the MYER one Card linked Terms and Conditions for points processing times.
Will I earn points if I forget to use my linked Mastercard® or Visa® card?
No, to receive points you will always need to pay with a linked Mastercard® or Visa® payment card at the time of purchase, as this allows us to track the purchase and award points. Points cannot be applied retrospectively.
You can link up to as many as five Mastercard® or Visa® credit or debit cards, giving you peace of mind whichever way you choose to pay. Link your cards in your MYER one account.
Why haven’t I received my MYER one points?
To ensure your points are tracked correctly when shopping with partners, please check the following:
- Payment Method: You must have made the purchase with your linked Mastercard® or Visa® card.
- Network choice: Your transaction needs to have been processed via the Mastercard® or Visa® credit network. From 1 July 2026, transactions made using the eftpos debit network will not be visible to the program and won't earn points.
- Processing Times: Each partner has a specific points processing window. Please refer to the table of current partners in the MYER one Card linked Terms and Conditions for points processing times.
If your points still aren't showing up after the partners’ points processing window, please contact us.
Please note that from 1 July 2026, Visa® and Mastercard® debit card transactions processed via the eftpos debit network will not earn MYER one points.
Will I earn points on cancelled orders, or orders that were refunded?
Points earned are based on your final spend for each transaction with a partner. If you return an item or cancel an order, you will not earn points.
For orders with partial refunds, your points will be updated to match your eligible final spend amount.
Where can I view my Points earned through the Card Linked Program?
You can view your Earn Partner purchase in your account or in the MYER one App.
How many cards can I link?
You can link up to five Australian issued Visa® or Mastercard® credit or debit cards.
Please note that from 1 July 2026, eftpos debit cards can no longer be linked to your MYER one account, and Visa® and Mastercard® debit card transactions processed via the eftpos debit network will not earn MYER one points.
How do I stop participating in Card Linking?
You can opt out at any time by unlinking your card via the Linked Cards page in your MYER one account. Once unlinked, you will stop earning MYER one points on purchases made with our partners using that card.
