Best LEGO® Sets For Kids
The best LEGO® playsets for kids grow with their skills and interests. From chunky first bricks to detailed worlds packed with characters and action, here’s where to start by age.
Little hands can get building with LEGO® DUPLO. The larger bricks are designed for younger builders to pick up, stack and pull apart, with colourful sets based around animals, vehicles, homes and everyday adventures. They’re a playful introduction to building, storytelling and hands-on discovery.
For kids ready to build their own busy worlds, LEGO® City brings plenty of action. Sets span vehicles, buildings and everyday adventures, giving young builders instructions to follow before letting their own stories take over. It’s a fun step up for kids who enjoy both building and imaginative play.
LEGO® Friends puts characters, hobbies and everyday adventures at the centre of the build. Kids can create homes, shops, vehicles and hangouts, then use the finished set as the starting point for their own stories. It’s especially suited to builders who love character-led play and lots of small details.
For bigger builds with plenty happening, LEGO® Ninjano® combines detailed models with action-packed play. Dragons, mechs, temples and vehicles offer a satisfying challenge, while characters and storylines give kids plenty to do once the last brick clicks into place.
Best LEGO® Sets For Adults
LEGO® isn’t just for the kids’ table. The best adult LEGO® sets range from decorative flowers and artwork to cars, landmarks and screen-inspired builds. From home décor and movies to cars and architecture, we’ve rounded up ideas for different types of fans.
Home Décor Lovers
For a build that earns its place on the shelf, explore LEGO® Botanicals and LEGO® Art. Flowers, plants and wall-ready designs turn building time into décor for desks, apartments and living spaces. They also make thoughtful gifts for housewarmings, Mother’s Day and anniversaries.
Movie And TV Fans
Bring a favourite fictional world off the screen with LEGO® sets inspired by film and TV. LEGO® Star Wars and LEGO® Disney span recognisable characters, scenes and display-worthy replicas. For collectors, some of the most impressive LEGO® sets also offer a longer, more detailed build.
Car Enthusiasts
Motoring fans can swap the garage for the building table with LEGO® Icons and LEGO® Technic. Choose from classic cars, supercars and engineering-focused builds with plenty of mechanical detail. They’re made for anyone who enjoys getting under the bonnet—even when the engine is built brick by brick.
