In 1993, Dior revealed the first velvet edition of the iconic 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palette. To celebrate its love story with this texture, the 5 Couleurs Couture palette is donning its velvety cloak once again. Its soft, matte case reveals voluptuous powders that dress the eyes in the utmost couture makeup.
The eyeshadows' fine and creamy powder texture is infused for the first time* with cornflower extract. Each incredibly sensorial eyeshadow instantly bathes the eyelid in intense, longwearing colour with a no-makeup feel.
Designed by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, each of the 5 Couleurs Couture limited-edition palettes features eyeshadows with velvety finishes, from the most matte to the most satiny, in artfully orchestrated shade ranges.

How to Use
For a natural look:
- Apply the medium shade on the entire eyelid with the large foam tip applicator to open up the eyes.
- Then add definition by using the thin foam tip applicator to apply the darkest shade along the lash line.
- Using the angled shading brush, highlight with the lightest shade beneath the brow arch and at the inner corner of the eye to widen the eyes.
For a sophisticated look:
- Apply the medium shade on the entire eyelid with the large foam tip applicator to open up the eyes, and then the darkest shade along the lash line with the thin foam tip applicator for definition.
- Blend over the entire eyelid and outward using the blending brush.
- Use the large foam tip applicator to highlight with the lightest shade beneath the brow arch and at the inner corner of the eye to create even greater contrast and defined eyes.
