Summer Trends
This issue we take you behind the scenes with Toni Maticevksi, who I believe is one of Australia's most talented designers. Any overnight success is usually 10 or more years in the making and Maticevski is no exception. I remember, 15 years ago when I worked at Vogue magazine, doing my first interview with the then-fledgling designer – he'd just staged an extraordinary show in a carpark in Melbourne and it had the fashion insiders sitting up and taking notice. The front row took notice again this year at the Myer spring/summer fashion parade as his beautiful looks came down the runway. To have watched his career progress thus far has been a real privilege for me.

We also welcome Alex Perry to the Myer stable in this issue. Like Maticevski, Perry has always walked his own path, with his signature high-wattage glamour that makes every woman feel like a goddess. And his latest collection is just hot, hot, hot!

Because it's our summer issue, expect to see our edit of the best swimwear looks this season. We've also covered one of the hottest trends – white – as well as a delectable selection of party dresses. And don't miss our annual Christmas Gift Guide where we've highlighted the best ideas for everyone in your life.
