buying and wearing your suit with style.

Find the perfect tie

Selecting the right tie for your outfit shouldn't be a chore. It can be as simple as choosing a colour and style that appeals to you and reflects a little piece of your personality. Try pairing a dark tie with a colourful shirt, a simple repetitive striped tie with a subtle check or a tie that picks up a hint of colour from your bold shirt.

This season Van Heusen has a range of smart ties in seasonal colours and patterns. Try the diagonal striped tie in bold masculine shades of deep red, classic black or sky blue. Despite the look you're going for, Van Heusen has a tie to suit. Go for a modern and contemporary feel or a timeless basic.

Remember when in doubt it's best to keep it simple and subtle.

Mix and Match

There are a few simple rules to remember when looking to match your shirt and tie:

  1. Don't mix too many patterns.
  2. Slim ties work with a suit, skinny ties do not.
  3. Keep it simple and you can't go wrong.

Remember that the colours, styles and patterns you choose will reflect your personality, so don't be afraid to try something different.
